His work as a champion civil rights earned him many awards. In 1993 Bishop Patterson opened the doors of Temple of Deliverance to the community and began serving free hot meals daily. The church fed multiple thousands of people during the two year period in which he led this humanitarian cause. In 2002 he charted COGIC Charities, Inc. His character, his leadership, and his powerful preaching extended his influence beyond the church he loved so dearly. His ministry on TV endeared him to saints and sinners across the nation and around the world. He was loved and respected by the leaders in the church world and people across America responded to his passionate preaching of Jesus Christ. Patrick Troughton Final Convention Appearance – Mar 27, 1987 (full)

This is the full Q&A session with Patrick Troughton from his final public appearance the day before his death. This was on March 27, 1987 in Columbus, GA at the Magnum Opus Con II.

Found this as part of a project where I was dumping everything on my 30 or so remaining VHS tapes from the 80’s to my computer, and then I was gonna get rid of the lot. When I saw what this one was, I thought “that’s gotta be late in his life”, then I checked the timestamped date and went HOLY CRAP! I looked on Youtube and noticed it didn’t seem to be on Youtube at all (in full), so up it went.

The saddest part is he said “See you tomorrow” as he as coming off stage.

Edit: I did not shoot this video originally. I just found it on a 30 year old VHS tape I still have in 2018. Unlike some people who find lost Doctor Who stuff, I’m quite eager to share it with the public. 😉

Tucson, AZ to Austin, TX Repositioning (Video Travelogue: Mar 2015)

Chris & Cherie of Technomadia.com share about their March 2015 travel adventures repositioning from Arizona City, AZ to the outskirts of Austin, TX.

Over the month we stayed at Picacho Peak State Park between Phoenix & Tucson, participated in the Escapee’s Escapade in Tucson helping launch Xscapers.com (a new support network for a new generation of RVers), Catalina State Park, a winery in Deming New Mexico, driveway surfing in Las Cruces.. and then heading north of I-10 exploring new to us territory of Guadalupe Mountains National Park, Monahan Sandhills State Park, San Angelo State Park and then ending the month at Pedernales State Park in Johnson City, TX.

Whew.. over 1000 miles traveled in the month! It’s been a great month of new adventures and fabulous people we’ve spent time with.

We’ve been on the road full time since 2006, working remotely the entire time – we love this lifestyle, and enjoy sharing about all aspects of it. We generally host and post a live video topic monthly (we pick a topic and host a Q&A session – www.technomadia.com/video for more info). We also post interviews with our nomadic friends every 4-6 weeks in our Ramblings series, and share a monthly travelogue from our own nomadic travels like this one. Thanks for joining us!

Eating breakfast/lunch at Delicia’s Del Mar- Apparently, this place has Mariachis come in for an hour every Friday and Sunday- A bunch of us met up to eat…these mariachis came in and started singing….roaming around the place… they started in on this song, and some random guy sitting over in the corner eating, started to sing, and boy did he belt it out. I have no clue what the song is or what it’s about, but I’ll find out and edit this later-
